Alexander Klaubert is an artist from Berlin whose transdisciplinary practice includes sculpture, installation, sound, performance, and contemporary dance. In 2024, he completed his Meisterschüler* studies (postgraduate program for artists) in performative arts under Isabel Lewis at the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig (HGB), following earlier studies in Fine Arts with Tina Bara, Joachim Blank, and Peggy Buth.
In 2018, Klaubert co-founded the artist collective otc – Observant Think Conversation (formerly Law of Life – LoL) with Francis Kussatz, followed by the establishment of Tired Mass, an art platform and magazine, in 2020. In 2024, he co-founded Shifting Temple, an interdisciplinary, performative platform, together with Colette Patterson.
Klaubert’s works have been shown at ASPN Gallery, Leipzig (2024); Wilhelm Hallen, Berlin (2023); Eigen+Art Lab, Berlin (2023); Marburger Kunstverein and Kunstverein Göttingen (2022); ZAK – Zentrum für aktuelle Kunst, Berlin (2020); Arles Les Rencontres de la Photographie (2019); and Diskurs Festival, Gießen (2019), among others.
